Yay Food Technologies Ltd (owner of Let’s Pizza™ ) is a pioneering Food-Tech start-up working on quality food preparation and distribution through cutting edge, innovative systems. Yay Food Technologies Ltd. aims to establish itself as a competitive player in this in-demand market by designing and developing a brand new generation of S.M.A.R.T systems (Self Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Tech) for the preparation and distribution of delicious, top quality, fresh food. Our highly skilled team is connected to a network of research institutes, engineering universities, high-tech firms, organic agri-food businesses and large international food companies. Our subsidiary Cibo Labs, based in Bolzano, Italy, is focused on product R&D, sales and distribution of Let’s Pizza™ machines, and developing the supply chain of ingredients. It is situated in the Nature of Innovation Techpark Südtirol where companies, researchers and students work side-by-side to evolve, innovate and develop exciting technologies.
Yay Food Technologies Ltd’s first offering - Let’s Pizza™ - is an Automated Pizza Kiosk (GEN 1) that prepares fresh baked pizza from scratch in under 3 minutes. Using high quality ingredients and a sophisticated robotic system, Let’s Pizza™ offers the consumer a quick and fresh meal option at the push of a button. Our team is already working on the industrialisation of an iteration of this system (GEN 2) which is scheduled to hit the market in 2022.

D. Karunakaran has more than 16 years of experience in manufacturing, SCM, procurement, vendor development and logistics across engineering, 3PL & automotive industries.

A multi-faceted entrepreneur, investor, and strategist based between Dubai and Mumbai with 20+ years of experience and leadership roles in a range of ventures and industries. From manufacturing auto components, pharmaceuticals and kitchen equipment, to a successful high volume cloud kitchen, to being the creative force that conceptualised, developed and owned close to 60 restaurants, international franchises, nightclubs, and cafes. Raman is instrumental in bringing to market award-winning brands, products and services across varied sectors, and his ventures create new benchmarks for contemporary business models. He believes that a passion for innovation drives inspiring ideas and exponential business growth.
His latest venture, Yay Food Technologies Ltd (owner of Let’s Pizza™), is a state of the art food-tech innovation company operating out of Italy and UAE, aiming to revolutionise the concept of Quick Service Meals by introducing S.M.A.R.T. technologies. It does so by using high tech robotics to ensure consistency and quality, as well as intelligent data administration to improve modes of consumption by mitigating business and operation costs to increase revenue.

Claudio Torghele is the co-founder of Let’s Pizza™ and is heading Cibo Labs s.r.l operations out of Bolzano, Italy. Cibo Labs s.r.l is a 100% subsidiary of Yay Food Technologies Ltd focused on sales and distribution of Let’s Pizza™ machines in Europe and North America, developing the supply chain of ingredients from Italy, as well as working with innovative companies for R&D of future versions of the Let’s Pizza™ system.
In the 1990’s, Claudio gained experience in the American food industry by acquiring a small Los Angeles based fresh pasta factory named “Pasta Fresca Co.” The growing market trend of Mediterranean food at that time led Claudio’s pasta business to expand rapidly by merging with competitors. At the turn of the millennium “Pasta Fresca Co.” reached nationwide distribution and Claudio sold the business to a Nasdaq listed company.
He then decided to invest his time and money in the development of a prototype of an automatic machine for the production of fresh pizza, giving birth to the concept of Let’s Pizza™.
Project Head
Nicola Peruzzo is the Project Head at Yay Food Technologies Ltd. He brings 30 years of experience in R&D and lean production techniques. As one of the first members of the design team, he was responsible for the mechanical engineering and building of the first prototype, and spearheaded the pilot production of Let’s Pizza™ machines.
Nicola has been integral to the success of the Let’s Pizza™ project from its inception. He was responsible for developing the supply chain for the current machines and takes pride in achieving the desired cost reduction of the machine from €200,000 Euros as the first prototype to €25,000 Euros in its current version.
At Yay Food Technologies Ltd Nicola is responsible for the R&D improvements and industrialization of the GEN 2 machine, with a goal to further reduce the cost and upgrade the functionality. Nicola aims to have a new GEN 2 prototype by Q2-2021, with a supply chain in place to produce the Gen 2 by Q1-2022.
Manufacturing Head
D. Karunakaran has more than 16 years of experience in manufacturing, SCM, procurement, vendor development and logistics across engineering, 3PL & automotive industries. A dynamic professional with expertise in formulation, supply chain strategies and their implementation, his contributions enable the enhancement of operations efficiency and driving business growth both for the top and bottom lines.
